Monroe Museum Village WWI Program Successful!

Once again, the unit helped to support the Great War Commemoration at Museum Village in Monroe, NY.  Reenactors interacted with the public throughout the course of the day and presented their take on the First World War from the civilian and military perspectives.  We had representation for the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Russia, and France, giving a nice broad and comprehensive spectrum.  Vivian Davis presented a lecture on the women's services in the US and Kevin Fitzpatrick came to give a presentation as President Woodrow Wilson.  John Van Vliet gave his presentation on chemical warfare to a large crowd.  Ongoing cooking, supervised by Dawn Elliott, kept everyone fed and happy.  The weather was very favorable and the attendance was good!  All in all, a very satisfactory day spent!
